Established in 1983, under the tutelage of Serverino Sciarretta.

Severino specialized in superior quality construction both residential and commercial. His son, Vincent Sciarretta from the onset, whether it was a creation of a residential home or a luxury condominium complex, no endeavor was too big or small. Almost thirty five years later Vincent, now known as VAS Construction, Inc. has grown into a building service provider whose professionalism and hands on approach have made him a success.

In recent years, Vincent has enjoyed bringing together his knowledge of construction and his appreciation of old world craftsmanship. Trained in the European methods of his late father, Vincent has tremendous expertise in the process of building a residential creation. A master in the industry, he applies his skills and his eye to residential projects, delighting in their successful completion and working closely with clients on every detail.

VAS Construction employs a wide range of master craftsmen and draws regularly on subcontractors with a history of proven work performance and excellence.

Vincent Sciarretta

Vincent Sciaretta is the owner and president of VAS Construction Inc. VAS Construction was established in 1983 in Stamford, Connecticut. Vincent was introduced to the business by his father, Severino Sciarretta, who was a developer for almost 50 years in Stamford. Over the years, Vincent has grown the company to be one of the most sought after construction companies in Fairfield County. Specializing in new construction, spec homes, high-end renovations and remodeling, VAS Construction is known for their amazing attention to detail. Being a mason by trade, Vincent was taught masonry by his father Severino at a young age, but he also taught him how to manage, supervise and schedule large construction projects. His passion is working closely with clients to help design the interiors of each home specializing in trim detail, kitchen and baths, proving what the true return is on investment. Vincent has won numerous HOBI awards for his work and has been featured in several national magazines, including the cover of Beautiful Bath Magazine. As a master in the industry, Vincent shows true expertise in the process of building outstanding residential creations. He applies his skills and his sharp attention to detail, whether a big or small project, delighting in the successful completion and the satisfaction clients boast about. “I build every house as if I were going to live there myself, this way it’s a guarantee of never having any issues.”

Donny Panapada

Donny Panapada has been part of the VAS team for the past 6 years as a project manager. He is responsible for the daily planning, quality and execution of projects. Prior to joining VAS, Panapada worked in the kitchen & bath stone industry for 10 years as a fabricator. Donny brings not only a focus of giving clients what they want but also an “attention to detail” that VAS has built a reputation on.

Donny has been a leader, mentor and teacher to many kids as a high school football coach for over 18 years. He resides in Stamford with his wife, Melinda, and children, Madison, Victoria and Lilliana.
